Doctor of Pharmacy. Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist. Functional medicine practitioner. And someone who understands your journey firsthand.
I'm Dr. Morgan Gatzlaff — most people call me Dr. Mo. I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy from Butler University and have spent over a decade in clinical pharmacy, including roles as a Psychiatry Clinical Pharmacist Specialist at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and a Pharmacist-In-Charge at a psychiatric health facility.
I thought I understood health. I had the degrees, the board certification, the clinical experience. But when my own health started falling apart — the crushing fatigue, the brain fog, the thyroid numbers that didn't add up — I realized that everything I'd learned was only part of the picture.
My journey led me to discover the connections between mold exposure, Hashimoto's disease, and the cascade of symptoms that so many people experience but few doctors recognize. I pursued training through the Institute for Functional Medicine and completed advanced coursework in integrative medicine to understand the "why" behind my symptoms.
That experience transformed not just my health, but my entire approach to helping others. Today, I combine my deep clinical pharmacy background with functional medicine principles to help people who are stuck in the same cycle I was — the cycle of "your labs look normal" while feeling anything but.
A strong clinical foundation, combined with specialized training in the areas that matter most for your health.
